1. GRADUATE TRAINEE (INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY)

Applications are invited from suitably qualified and competent persons for the job of IT Graduate Trainee.

The candidates must:

  • Preferably hold a BSc in Computer Science, Information Technology, Management Information Systems, Computer Engineering or related disciplines that provide foundational knowledge in software development and testing.
  • Have keen interest to pursue a long term career in the challenging Information Technology arena
  • Have the ability to prioritize, be attentive to details, maintain confidentiality and provide exceptional client service
  • Possess demonstrated communication, interpersonal, organizational, analytical, problem solving and computer skills
  • Have the ability to work collaboratively with project teams and have a sense of urgency and commitment to timely completion of projects
  • Possess a minimum of 2.1 degree pass

 

2. NURSE-AID/CLINICAL OFFICER - HEALTHCARE ADMINISTRATION

Applications are invited from suitably qualified and competent persons for the job of Nurse Aid.

The job involves:

  • Attending to all emergency assist calls received from both members and service providers who require support and guidance on the scheme benefits (on a 24hr basis).
  • Establishing an efficient process flow for claims adjudication, vetting and payment to both service providers and members (for cash claims) in line with set turnaround times.
  • Preparing monthly claims utilization reports per client for both internal and external consumption in line with perimeters defined within each scheme.
  • Continuous engagement with providers to ensure up-to-date records are provided to and are available with the providers - claims and billing documents (forms), appropriate agreements in place with regards to document submission dates, billing and payment as well as reconciliation dates.
  • Maintaining an accurate record/database of contracted providers and any change of contact or other details.
  • Negotiating for hospital treatments/procedural packages available to members in line with benefits provided best terms and discounted fees/charges with GPs and Specialists in line with guided and recommended tariffs for each scheme and scope of cover.
  • Receipt and proper acknowledgement, recording and storage of claims received and ensure proper documentation to Finance for billing and reconciliation purposes as per frequency agreed upon and set-up

The person must:

  • Preferably hold a minimum Diploma in nursing.
  • Have at least 2 to 3 years’ experience in nursing and patient care.
  • Have administrative experience in case management (a must have).
  • Have demonstrated experience gained in corporate claims, case management and service provider management.
  • Be able to show demonstrated proficiency and knowledge in health insurance or medical aid structure, terms and conditions.
  • Have a good understanding of all the major medical facilities, clinical practices, and pharmaceutical and diagnostic service providers countrywide.
  • Possess excellent communication skills and maintain confidentiality of all information.
